Sugar Maple MX is going to have a Midwest Vintage MX race June 21st and 22nd. They want at least 5 people to show up to give us our own class. I don't like anybody, so I don't have anyway to spread the word on social media. I ride at Sugar Maple a lot. The track is super nice and they have great overnight camping. Clean flush toilets and hot showers. It's definitely the best facility in the state. The owner really does care about the track.

Patrick, That sure looks like a great track. Unfortunately its 1830 miles for me to make it from Lake Havasu City, AZ. What bike are you riding? Opps, I see the Stark in your picture!!! There is going to be an Electric class race, there was last year too, but only 5 entries, at Daytona in the Vintage races after the Daytona Supercross in Florida. I ride a 2022 KTM DIY Electric. I am planning to go there. One of my friends (a DIY Yamaha electric, and now a Stark rider, racer) is meeting with Mike Burkeen of the AMA at Anahiem 2 to discuss Electric Bikes, Racing and the AMA. But good luck with you race , and it will happen. To spread this better, post your request in the post on this site AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races
This will be seen by a lot more people.

Yes. I just got a tag from that thread. There are a lot of people on there.
If I can't even get 5 people to show up, I have zero credibility to get D16 to add an e-bike class for 2026. They already think only 2 or 3 people in the entire state even ride electric bikes. It's stupid as hell we can't race in the open and age classes this year.

That a bummer they don't let the E-bikes in the Open classes. Here at Florida Trail Riders we
not only have an Electric class (which is now mostly super fast riders). Saturday we had 24 entries.
I also race in my age class Sunday, on the XE4.
