EVE CELLS on factory bikes????

yes they have a partnership with EVE Energy since november i think and with A123 since january

they are developing the new format cells

things are gonna get better

My inside bird was chirping about 8.5kWh in production Vargs end of 2027 with the same form and size battery.

One might suspect that that battery is in their current competition bikes for testing and development.

so, it's 2028 and we've only increased to 8.5kWh? i think the target should be a minimum of 9.2kwh or even 10kwh on the next gen Varg, i wouldn't launch it until those figures are reached, and as Anton Wass says: "We will launch improved models when they are ready and we consider it worthwhile, we don't stick to dates like releasing a model every 2 or 3 years."

I think you're right. It should be around ~30% more range or shedding off ~7kg of pack weight by 2028. It should be a little more than 9.2kWh

This doesn't need to be a new model.
They've been implementing updates on existing models from the start. An early MX1.0 and later ones had some very different components.
The MX1.2 had so many new parts it was impossible to interchange E bits. So it became a new model. But only a 1.2, not a 2.
There is no reason to not give a new model year a new battery. Especially if it's interchangeable.

I have EVE40P cells on my WR250E Amorge battery packs. They are great for the price not super high performance. They have an EVE50PL that is pretty amazing I almost bought 2 packs with those cells but Amorge only have pre production cells at the time so I went with the TenPower 50XG cells. The performance is amazing.
