Yup, has happened to me several times since I bought my Alta. Has me contemplating the purchase of heated gloves.

Mostly I just stop a little longer and make a small campfire, no risk of it getting out of hand in Western Washington.

Sitting at the line in arenacross I would steal some heat off the bikes beside me

Try wearing nitriles gloves under your moto gloves. You’ll be surprised how much warmer your hands will be. Works better than heated glove liners.

I use those hot hands packets and hand guards to block the wind. Might have to try the nitrile gloves too.
