don't know if this was already posted: Manufacturer of the coded connectors of the EX is pretty sure HIGO.
And I think at least for indicators and backlight it is HIGO Micro M Series. Higo ebike signal connectors

Good information, I will look into this when I get my bike.
I want to fit a handlebar remote (Carpe Iter) for navigation and if they do a cable splitter, this may be a better option than an external battery.
