On sand tracks mostly 48hp with 40 regen.
Hard pack tight track 42hp 50 regen.

My maps are 35-42-48-60-80 with whatever amount of regen i like on that track. It's not uncommon for me to switch between 48-60 on track.

It depends on the track. I like the power at the bare minimum that will get me over the biggest jump that I want to clear cleanly (usually around 40 hp). That way, I can just hold the throttle wide open and not worry about having an excess of power that might get me in a jamb.

Only 2 rides in, but I’m finding my 60 super easy to modulate without too much unexpected power, it walks right up the loading ramp. Never got to try the earlier software versions.
I am enjoying the 0% regen, and find that chopping the throttle on jumps still creates forward rotation. Range has been good.

45hp and 40% regen works for our local dry hardpack track. More hp only causes more rear wheelspin and slower corner exits. I reduced it from the old 50hp setting and started exiting the turns much faster with less tail wagging. It is all track and surface dependent though.

Is anyone using full 80HP except when hooning for the camera?

If it's not used or practicable then a redesign of the power output and battery capacity may be considered.
I don't think 40 hp electric motor would be much smaller than 80 hp motor. Motor is only 9 kg and they claim to have the world's smallest inverter for 50-100 kW power ranges. I don't understand what you mean about capacity, more capacity is always more range, wether you're using 40 hp or 80 hp, don't think anyone has currently too much range.

Anyway they're supposedly working on some kind of intermediate 85/Surron type bike so we'll see.
