Formula master cylinder rebuilt kit? Or Brembo rear master cylinder model number?

My rear brake has a serious case of not holding pressure. The initial pull gets some pressure but that falls to nothing over a couple seconds.

So I'm thinking it's worn seals inside the master cylinder. How hard can it be to fix that, right?

Sadly Google is failing to find me a rebuild kit that's specific to the Formula master cylinder. Does anyone know if kits are available? Or if generic kits will suit and if so which one?

Or do I have to get a whole replacement master cylinder?

If that's the case then I'll go for the Brembo. But here's the fun part - I'm in NZ, I've a race next Sunday, and shipping from Stark in Australia can take more than a week. So does anyone know the Brembo model number, so I can get the master cylinder from an in-country supplier?

Did you ever find a seal kit for the formulas? Or more info on what's needed with the brembo kit?

Stark is really irritating me saying they won't cover it because seals are "consumables," but then the only way to replace them is with an entire new master cylinder, so apparently the whole damn thing is a consumable now.

Since there shouldn't be any official rebuild kits for Brembo, the ones you can find online always made me suspicious about them. Therefore, years ago I turned to a local company specialized in rebuilding brakes for my supermoto. I sent them the master cylinder and the caliper and they cleaned them and replaced the seals. There must be similar companies in New Zealand and in the USA.
In theory you could send Brembo parts to an official Brembo dealer but according to rumors it would take months to get the serviced parts back.
Fot Formulas, I would ask the Formula company.

I think Formula has a pretty limited share of the USA market, but here is their email: service@rideformula.com
Let us know what you out.

Hah, well Formula service was way quicker and more helpful than Stark's, but they also didn't want to help warranty wise (not that I expected them to - they didn't sell this directly to me so it's understandably not really their problem). They at least pointed me to a 2022 KTM Freeride listing for parts: Rear brake master cylinder for KTM FREERIDE E-XC 2022 - KTM

I'll probably upgrade to Brembo at the end of the day so I'm not dealing with this every couple years, not to mention the spongy feel.

Did you ask them about a rebuild kit for your master cylinder?
Because yeah, I agree if you’re buying a new master cylinder, you might as well go with a new Brembo.

I assume it would just be the 40euro piston kit (p/n 70013008000) to get a new seal. There's not really much else in there.
Edit: Other sources have it listed as a "repair kit" so I guess that's it.
