Sooo I got another electric bike. It's become clear to me that we're not going to be winning hare scrambles with the Light Bee's travel challenged suspension. It's just too punishing riding that bike on rough trails. I wanted a Ultra Bee or Arctic Leopard EXE880 but don't have the monies. So I thought about doing an electric conversion would be more cost efficient. I was going to find a roller and convert it to electric but I found this bike! A 2008 Yamaha WR250R conversion bike! I'm going to turn this bike into my trail weapon. It's going to be an electric bike to gobble up the trails and put up a fight with the next generation of electric bikes in the Virginia City Grand Prix!

First ride at Honolulu Hills. It made a great pit bike and it survives a easy ride around the MX track. It definitely needs work though.

In this video we take the WR250E for a neighbor hood test ride after tiding up the bike to see if all the rattles and loose stuff are gone. This is also my first time riding it on the street. We gotta be real quiet so we don't wake up those homeless folks.
