Interest in AER Fork Wheel Spacers?

Anybody on this forum interested in purchasing some front wheel spacers for the AER forks? I think this would really only apply

I'm looking to have some machined, and figured the more people who are interested, the lower we can get the cost. Current quote I have is $88/pair. But that would go down as our volumes go up.

If you are interested, comment here or shoot me a DM and I will add you to the list.

I would be interested, but I have an EXR. Not sure if they're the same. Also, I wouldn't mind having a set for the rear as well. I'm starting to get wear rings on both

Great, i'll put you down for a set!

I believe XLPR and AER forks use the same spacers. If you wanted to be extra certain, you could pull your current spacers and verify they look like this (post #13):

I could probably look into making some rear-wheel spacers, but I believe those were originally sourced from Warp 9. So anybody who needed extra rear-wheel spacers could probably hit up Warp 9. The front spacers were unique and manufactured by Alta, hence the current shortage (or at least, difficulty in finding them).

It may be a bit of a stretch, but I could ask my machinist about making some copies. It's not like the GD&T is all that extensive. I'm sure anyone with a lathe could make them. It would just be easier to plunk down the cash to have them done and ready to go. I would be willing to buy 2 sets at least if that helps with the numbers?

I'll look up the warp 9 rear sets.

I agree, it's a simple enough part to make. I thought about pulling some favors with friends who have lathes, but I figured there might be enough interest from enough people it might just make sense to throw money at the problem.

I'm going to see about the costs of having them anodized per factory specs as well, but may or may not pursue that route depending on how much cost it adds.

Looks like we're up to 6 sets right now, which puts us at $50/set. I'll give it another week for people to chime in if they are interested, then I'll reach out to those who have expressed interest to confirm and figure out payment.

Just as an FYI, i'm not turning a profit on these - just facilitating the ordering process and hopefully allowing us to get some volume pricing.

Not in a rush, but if you can get the price belts $50 per set, then I'm sure you might get more interest. Usually just having them in hand would make it a better option for most people.
