New MXR owner UK

Hi guys, I've recently got myself an MXR over here in the UK.
As a bit of a newb to these things I was wondering if you guys could
help me out with the following questions:

1. With regards to the charger, can I simply remove the large plug
with the 4 gold tabs a replace it with a normal UK 3 pin plug? If so does
anyone know which wires go where?

2. Is it ok to jet wash the bike? Are there any areas I should
avoid getting too wet?

3. I'm quite tall, has anyone ever fitted a tall seat foam?
Assuming a specific alta foam is not available would anyone know
whats the closest foam that I could shave down/modify myself to fit?

4. I assume the grumbling noise from the motor/gearbox when rolling
the bike along at slow speed is normal?

5. Anything else I should be aware of or keep an eye on?

For changing the plug, sounds like you have the fast charger which is 240 volt with a 30 Amp NEMA L14-30P connector. I don’t know the English power system but definitely either get an electrician to make you an adapter or even better buy a an adapter online.

1. I think so, but let’s ask your fellow countryman @#76 how he did his.
2. These bikes are “waterproof”, but you want to avoid using high pressure pressure washers. I prefer to use electric pressure washers as they typically don’t have as much pressure as the gasoline units. Avoid pressure around any electrical components, plugs, etc., especially around the charge port and near the metal vent screen at the bottom rear of the battery.

5. Check to be sure your data port plug is still properly installed by the previous owner before the bike sees any water. Just bought a new to you Alta? Check your diagnostic port plug!
