New VARG Software Update.

That video is a year old!

Michael

You're right. My mistake.
I received it last night from our buddy Sam and assumed it was about the recent update.

Does that also mean that FW1.6.0 IS the big update?

I'm not noticing anything drastically different while riding.

Mx 1.0 up to date firmware is…

Thank you for contacting Stark.
Your current firmware is: Bike 1.6.0, App 1.0.187
The latest firmware available is: Bike 1.6.0, App 1.0.187

Your bike has the latest softwares available right now.

Two minor things I've noticed with 1.6.0 on my EX so far:

- The contactors seem to operate much faster when turning the bike on/off
- When turning off the bike under 20% it no longer seems to go into deep sleep mode automatically, it still just sits in hibernation. I noticed it coming home around 17% so perhaps they just lowered the threshold to 10% or something.

WTH, it's 2026 and Stark is still advertising adjusting throttle response and traction control, did I miss something?

traction control? i didnt know about that, my replacement bike didnt arrive yet... is that a new update that i miss?

but yes, i suppose there are still people who haven't yet discovered this type of bike and its technology, and Stark wants the information to reach as many people as possible, which is why they keep repeating the same thing...

I think it's about time they implemented the speedometer adjustment based on sprocket size and wheel size... @brongle has it in their app, and even Talaria has it on some of their bikes

I asked them about this 5 months ago and they told me they had it in development... a bit slow...

I see this IG post as an invitation to gauge who of the existing owners are missing the promised features. There's already some comments to that matter, and I guess they want more owners to push with comments and likes to comments.
Just imagine there are more comments which ask for a timeline than comments which praise the bike 👀

Really pisses me off.. I spoke with the Stark crew at the recent Day in the Dirt at Glen Helen and they said the throttle response feature will never come to the 1st gen MX bikes, it's only planned for the 2nd gen and later. Another stick in the eye for early adopters

I agree they screwed us with a bit of bait and switch, but I do not regret purchasing my Varg.
And now the throttle curve adjustment is a paid subscription feature on the newer models, but I don't really want it anymore.
Sure, if it was free I would give it a try, but if I could get only one of the broken promises fixed, it would be the weight of the bike.
