Phone (Arkenstone) won't charge

My phone won't charge above 4% when either plugged in the wall like my Samsung, or when the bike is charging. It'll charge up to about 25%, when riding.
Thoughts?

I don't really understand the phone charging strategy, I have seen it at 1% more than a few times after leaving the bike charger on it all night. It seems to stop charging the phone after the battery gets to the set charging value, but it doesn't turn the display off, I think? I have also seen the phone charging with the bike off.

My phone definitely charges when plugged in directly though. Have you made sure the charge port is clean?

Have you tried charging the phone wirelessly off the bike?

This phone-bike combo is such garbage, probably one of the worst tech attempts I've ever seen.

I haven't tried wireless charging off the bike.
But, yeah, its all over the place. After sitting on the bike overnight, with the bike shut down, the phone is up to 54%.
I'm struggling to crack the code to this thing.
