Order a screen replacement from AliExpress
First hit the edge of the screen with a hair dry to loosen up the glue.


Use some Alcohol to loosen the glue. Pray off the broken screen



Once the screen is free unscrew the ribbon from the screen and I put some tape on the connecting port to keep any pieces getting in the port.


Clean the edges of glue and glass pieces. Use alcohol to remove the glue from the edges.
Once clean take the new screen and plug it in and check if it’s functioning properly. Then put the double sided tape along the sides.


Run the glue around the edges and place the screen in place. Check for proper alignment and functions. Put a little weight overnight on the screen.

I’am trying a screen protector. I don’t know if it will help? I figured it wouldn’t hurt. The one on the old screen was a temporary put on after screen was broke.
