QS 138 90H V3!

For the DIYers out there, this is pretty exciting. Looks like QS is working on a 138 90h V3 that will have a built in gear reduction similar to the 70h V3. More power will be excellent for full-size MX builds!

Only down side is that it's wider than the 70H V3 which barely clears a rear foot brake pedal as is.

Only by another 10mm. I think that could still work with some simple mods or by relocating to a left hand brake.

Definitely. I was comparing the 2 motors recently , along with the 10kw QS165 that they just released with gear reduction. Both of the new motors are 14.5kg. Ultimately, I didn't want to run a motor that's another 4-5 pounds heavier if the QS 138 70H v3 has enough power for a dirt bike. I think if the bike is bigger or heavier than a dirt bike, then one of the new motors would be ideal.
