Can you share contact information for Bridger at EBMX - I have the same shuddering problem and also bought my controller from Grit Shift.

I contacted the EBMX Customer Service as Hades suggested and got a very prompt response by Bridger. After I responded a few questions about mu setup, he sent me 3 XML files and asked me to try one first and if needed, try the other ones. I did and the second file worked perfectly! Just, beware, he asked me to revise my settings, and he did mean ALL of them. At first I just calibrated the motor, but later realized my power settings were gone as well as the throttle (got an error code) and regen brake. Easy fix and now my bike works fantastic. Thanks Hades for the tip and Bridger for an excellent customer support.
