red battery warning light ??

I went to ride this morning and the battery is saying "72%" but when I held the power button to turn it on,

it came up with a warning... something like " Bike will shut off to save itself , hold for 3 seconds to dismiss."

So, I dismissed it, and now there are (a little red battery and a red circle with an M inside it) warning lights showing up.

You can hear the usual hmmmm sound and maybe even the water is circulating too.

The gear selector will also swtich the gears around, but no power to the rear wheel.

I am lucky enough to have a few dirt bikes, so it will be a while before I am back to this bike, or back on here.

** Note ** it was stored inside an un-heated barn and the low temps was around 40 degrees last night.... but the other stark sitting right beside it is the one I am taking today,

Thanks in advance for the help!

Mmm... it must be a software thingy... Because I took my son's Stark instead of mine today. She ran flawlessly for over 2 hours. Then when I went to load it up and the trailer, it showed the same "Warning" ... this one also had a loud beeping sound too. after turning it off and on a couple times, it went back to normal tho.

I got back in and checked mine, still nothing so I will try and reaching out to Stark thru the phone here in a few. Will post updates on here too.

if your sons suddenly had the same behaviour probably is a software thing... reset both phones and both bikes. Still contact Stark, they should respond you no more later than Tuesday https://starkfuture.com/es-ES/contact

@True520: what firmware version are your bikes running? (You can see that in the Varg app under settingsyour bike). What models are those bike, MX 1.0, MX 1.2 or EX?

They are matching MX 1.0 with the 80hp firmware is 1.4.0

My son’s hasn’t done it anymore and is currently working fine.

Mine won’t do anything tho Just shows that little red battery light and that little circled M light.

I will definitely reset the phone … but I’m not sure how to reset the bike itself ??

i didnt mean to reset the bike sorry, i mean turn it completely off (up and down buttons pressed at the same time for 10 seconds) then wait 30 seconds and turn it on
then on the phone you can try one thing that i dont completely remember but it think it is to press and hold the Stark APP on the menu, options or configuration (maybe its inside the 3 dots icon) and then it should appear something like "reset" or "delete" "all updates". That resolve some problems i had in the past

dont worry, is not going to delete the update or the data of the app, it will stay the same... is like cleaning itself

Pretty sure 1.4.0 is the bugged release, I think 1.5.0 is the latest now although I'm not sure how they are rolling things out.

Has there actually been a MX reported with 1.5.0? My EX updated to 1.5.0 right from 1.2.8 so possibly MX is 1.4.x now and EX 1.5.x?

Yesterday my bike was on version 1.2.8, but this morning I checked and it’s now on 1.5.0. I didn’t even do the update myself by pressing both buttons when the yellow/magenta LED shows up. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t really mind it, but it’s strange that it updated on its own without me doing anything.

Both are the 25 Red MX 80hp models...

I done a restart on both the phone and the bike this morning. (on the bike, I just held both the up and down buttons for 10 seconds)

I could tell it was acting a little differently Once I got them both powered back up too. Before the red light would never go off. It would make the clicking noise and the water would stop circulating, but the red light would never go off. AND, it wouldn't take charge either.

This morning, The red light goes off and on like it's supposed too. The up and down buttons work and vibrate when modes are selected.
And, it is now taking a charge too!

Still no power to throttle, And, after it sets for a few seconds, the Flashing warning comes back on too.
