Redshift in hard enduro

It is official! The Erzberg Rodeo is one of the toughest Hard Enduro events on the calendar and one that any serious offroad racer is keyed into. Just finishing this race is a feat in and of its self! This is a potentially smart move to get the Redshift MXR the "street cred" it deserves in the offroad world. It is also a relatively low-risk endeavor as most riders don't finish. A poor performance is justified and a finish would be absolutely amazing for the company!

That's awesome! I read up the Wikipedia, and it sounds totally doable, LOL! Only 13km on Friday and Saturday and only 35km on Sunday. Mostly uphill, I am guessing.

Which model will they use? Probably MXR, perhaps EX. Whichever, it will be heavily modded.

They will probably use the latest battery pack and all-custom suspension, at which point nobody will be able to tell the difference between the MXR and the EX.

I second that Philip! My guess is that they will be using the MXR as a base with custom suspension setting for the individual riders.

Finally the news is out! I was having a hard time keeping it shut!

We are indeed using an MXR platform with an 18" rear wheel and some other bits and pieces. Expect to see an Erzberg kit available at dealers soon-ish.

When will we have SMR and EXR? When will a 60hp MXR-R model come out? What about the AWD bike? Will we be able to ride nose wheelies for miles?
