Solved GPS navigation disappearing when the Stark VARG dashboard takes over

@Martti Well, the thing is only some of them ride Starks.. So for conveneice they do prefer whatsapp or google map live location (which I assume you cannot stream from).
Not sure there it's not feasible for you to charge a monthly subscription. But since there are free (less convinent) alternatives I could be a harder sale.

@Martii,
How about this feature: when leaving a preloaded GPX track the screen will flash an alert and even a sound if possible.
My example: a three-way fork in the road with almost parallel tracks that lead in different directions so it's easy to take the wrong one.
Terrain is tight and rough and looking down at the phone is almost impossible without slowing or stopping so an alert would be nice to have.

P.S.
App is still not available via the PlayStore.

@Jgottsch @madkuku thank you for helping me to think this through. buddies is a cool feature but looks like its not something to build right now.
@OpaTsupa this is a good idea! I've been thinking about an extended version of this. if you miss a turn or go off track to explore I want to add a arrow that points to the nearest track. video games often use the same method to point to track or enemies or ...

The app is available in Google Play (search for Head North: Trail Map) or headnorthgps.com
*For some reason google is not allowing paid apps in Montenegro but I'm working on something that should solve it

Will be using the latest feature which added distance to selected point "as the crow flies." Just long press on map and distance pops up
Thanks for the shout out here! The feature came from the discussion with you 🙇‍♂️

Get it from Play Store (Head North: Trail map) or headnorthgps.com
