I've been told by Stark that they are interested in rider feedback, but it's not straightforward to submit it, or for them to monitor and filter it.
So here's an attempt to have "Suggestion box" where riders can share their perspective, ideas, wishes and of course complaints.

Keep it civil, constructive and to the point.
Elaborate and give broader context if necessary.

I'll start with a small suggestion.

- Bundle the 80hp mode with the Pro subscription, or have a different "Race" package where 80hp can be used with a term limit or sampled for a reasonable price.

My EX is at 60hp and while I don't need the 80hp (or will ever pay 1000€) I'm curious if it can be practicable for my riding.

Large and desperately needed suggestion:
- Traction control.

Fast Charging with two 3.3kW chargers in parallel

- offer an a small and light accessory to combine any two Stark 3.3 chargers to allow fast charging on two 16A phases

This could be done with a portable charger that comes with a DC connector that accepts piggybacking a second standard DC connector.

two 3.3kW chargers in parallel
Then they wouldn't be able to sell their new 7kW charger. Also this could lead to problems where someone plugs 2 chargers in next to each other on the same circuit and ends up drawing too much current and tripping that circuit. its almost better to force them to use a known 32 amp course.

Is the slow pairing just a gen1 issue? I have never noticed it on my EX.

I would like 2wd, a better aluminum or titanium skid plate, a progressive Regen brake lever and adjustable traction control/flywheel.

The integrated taillight and rear turn signals on the EX are far too dim. Would love an upgraded version with 2-3x the LED count.

The indicator switch is a poor design. I shouldn't have to take my eyes off the road to make sure I pressed the switch correctly and am actually signalling. The switch needs a redesign and desperately needs some haptic feedback so I can signal without looking down.

Not sure I have never had a problem with my gen1. But bluetooth can be a mixed bag of reliability even with the same devices say two of the same pixel 10s. A wired connection is always a good back up.

BTW I thought we had a thread like this somewhere else around here?

Let me begin with that i love the bike. But some things can and should be better. It's the most premium bike i've ever owned, but some stuff feels really Aliexpress.

- Ditch the phone dashboard. Too many times it didn't work properly on both the MX1.0 or the Demo EX's. Also it's way too easy to steal if you park it and MX pants don't have pockets so you end up walking around with the phone in your hand like some teenage screen addict.

- Handlebar buttons that press a little deeper so you have better feedback that you actually did push the button and it was not stuck (wich it does from time to time, might as well fix that while at it).

- Fast charging with more chargers parallel.

- An onboard mountable charger. Doesn't need to be full 3,3kW if that's too big. Just something that can be mounted or dismounted on the bike and has some charging power to get you going or charge over night/work.

- Some storage space. We can't even store our car keys let alone some tools. There is plenty off free space under the seat, now some way to use it.

- Less sharp grips to lift the bike. The bike is not a lightweight and the stand is high. To make the lifting points sharp is just to torture riders.

- Ditch the centerstand. Noboby who owned a Stark over a week liked the thing and almost everyone build the charger into something else. Safe yourself and us some money and the enviroment some garbage that will never be used... just forget about it. It's just too heavy to move around frequently.

- The charge cap is annoying and delicate. It falls apart all the time and requires very subtle movements. Something that cannot be expected from people who just gave it their all on the track. The MX 1.0 Gen 1 had a wonderfull cap that worked just fine.

- Speed sensor in the wheel. Now changing gearing puts everything off and the EX is geared way too short for street riding. Just put a speed sensor in the front wheel and everything is fixed (even rear wheel if you must). At least KTM and Beta use it as well so no excuses about some regulations.

- The sidestand still sucks and feels like it's gonna tip over or snap all the time (wich it both does from time to time). Look at any Enduro brand and do what they do. There are some Chinese options that work wonderfull, might just buy their design? I do buy it anyways because i like my stuff to work.

- Some more back-up would be nice.
If the buttons get stuck or broken there is no way to get the bike going. We have a big fat screen on our handlebar. As long as we have that we might as well get some use from it. Give us a override emergency page to overrule the switch.

- Another in the back-up category. If the phone breaks, gets lost, stolen (see point 1) etc etc you're pretty much blind. Make an app for Android and iOS that can at least look at the battery percentage and map settings. No need to change it perse if that's too hard. I just want to know if i need to charge and what map settings i run.

From time to time i have had constructive contact with Stark. How about we let this roll for a month or so and i copy/paste/combine the points into an email in name of electricdirtriders.com as a moderator.

I will contact @Philip about this in the coming time unless he sees this first.

The phone bracket has a locking mechanism, is a screw hole on the right side that you can use to block it and the phone bracket will not open... people are not going to know that and walk with a little screwdriver to stole your phone on a MX track... see picture below. I knew about this 2 weeks ago after 1 year with the bike jajaja

Well that's actually cool!
Also to keep it better in place on the track.

You could go for a very uncommon screw like a alan with pin:

exactly, put the rarest screw head and put some little black tape or something on top and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Almost nobody knows, so SHHHHH so the thieves don't find out 🔒
