OMG! This is horrible. Were those both Lyndon's bikes, or one his and one TT's?

That's amazing how anyone could do such a heist without a meticulous prior planning. Stealing both bikes, generators and gear in under 20 minutes. Who the hell will be able to ride them in the UK unnoticed anyway? I would not be surprised if these Altas are being disassembled and tested somewhere in a KTM lab.

Unreal. To say Altas racing efforts have been followed by a black cloud would be an understatement. Good luck (sarcasm) to the thieves trying to sell those bikes. Gonna be real hard not to get noticed.

Friday is the first race, so they have to have the bikes in Erzberg and race ready by Thursday night at the latest.

I am just hoping that those two bikes were both Lyndon's and Ty has a spare. Else, no amount of money would get Alta into this race. The worst timing possible.

Yup, both Lyndon's. Ty still has his two bikes. Posted similar in the other thread, but we're still trying to make it happen for Lyndon. I guess the good news is that there was no black magic in either bike - standard R drivetrain. Bad news is that there are only a handful of Rs that have made it to Europe, and not enough time to send him fresh ones. Stay tuned... if it all comes together he'll still be at the prologue, maybe on cobbled together kit. But if anyone can roll with it, it's Lyndon. His instagram is probably the best place to get updates: https://www.instagram.com/lyndonposkitt/

So after watching a few of Lyndon’s videos it sounds like the strategy is a battery change for the main event. Lyndon will be riding Ty’s spare bike for the prologue but unless they come up with two more R batteries only one will be racing the main event, which will be Ty providing they both qualified.

Down anyone else besides Lyndon cover Erzberg?

There is some kind of RedBull TV on Sunday at noon, but I do not know how it works. Do you have to download and app and also pay? Or watch for free on a computer?
