Varg comfort seat options for trail riding

Anyone had a comfortable, trail riding seat made and installed on the stock seat pan yet? I've owned a lot of Seat Concept seats, and a few Sargent, over the years. Will probably order a second seat and put a seat kit on that seat pan rather than my original seat pan.

I just reached out to Seat Concepts as I see they have one seat kit for the Varg, but it's the Race 2.0 Seat.
So far, a Comfort, Comfort XL, Comfort Low, Comfort High, etc. are not listed.
I'll keep everyone posted in what I find out. I'm looking to have them make the standard "Comfort" model for my Varg, but I'm also open to suggestions for other aftermarket seat foam/cover/kit manufacturers that might be open to making foam/cover for the Varg. I'm just most familiar with Seat Concepts because they are only one State away.

Super happy to see you have at least one seat kit available for the Stark Varg since Seat Concepts is my go-to for all my dirtbikes and snowbikes.
You don't have a Comfort Seat listed, but is there one available (custom or soon to be production) for the Varg?

I've used the regular Comfort seats on my Yamahas and KTMs and really want a Seat Concepts Comfort seat for the Varg I bought a few weeks ago. Have now put the bike away for the winter, so no rush, but would love to get a seat from you by next spring (April or May 2025).

Basically, looking for what you always do with the Comfort seat, which is fairly close to OEM width towards the front (for aggressive, seat-forward riding and touching feet to ground when stationary), but wider/flatter than OEM in the rear for a trail riding platform when seated on longer trail rides/family rides. The stock OEM is the typical 2x4, which is to be expected since its targeted at motocross riders.

Please let me know if you currently have, or intend to offer by spring, a Comfort Seat kit for the Stark Varg.

Heard back from Seat Concepts. As mentioned, the Varg Race 2.0 Foam and Cover kit is already available on their website, but they confirmed they are working on a Varg 'Comfort' Foam and Cover kit. I'll likely go with that and install over the winter. Still have to decide if I just update my seat pan or buy another seat and do it on that seat pan. Not sure there are any situations where I might want to go back to the stock seat, so maybe second seat pan is a waste of money. I'll have the seat off the plastics anyway if I switch from my red plastics to gray plastics.

My original preorder was gray. Was waiting for the current sale to apply to 60hp and local dealer got in one that met all of my specs except plastic color being red, but I jumped on it since full plastic kit is only $145. The red is growing on my, though. Maybe I should wait a couple years and then switch to gray as kind of a refresh/new bike feel. Then switch to white a couple years after that. Then graphics a couple years after that. Then it will be buying whatever the latest greatest is then. Can't imagine what choices we'll have in 6 or 8 years. But drifting off topic now.

Save your money getting two seats. The stock foam is way too stiff. I have the seat concepts soft/comfort seat on my XCW and it's top notch. But I have to say I am very pleased with the Guts foam and cover. Given how hard the suspension is we need everything we can get to soften the ride. Be prepared for some frustration removing the stock foam though. They use some devil glue on there that doesn't come off easily. Brake cleaner helped get some of it off but it was a real PITA. I used 3m spray 77. Always a good idea to test whatever you're using on a small area to make sure it's not going to eat through the foam.

I asked SC about making a thicker seat as well and they said they don't have molds for making them. I have an XL on my KTM500 and it's much better than any other bike I've ever owned. My Alta is pretty rough as well, but not nearly as bad as the Stark.

I'm missing a leg and can't stand up while riding, so I'm at the mercy of the terrain. I can usually get through about 1.5 batteries and then I'm done for the day or the weekend, so having a softer and wider seat would be a huge improvement.

I got a gel pad (https://a.co/d/hQ1mS38) and Gutz cover with wings and had them installed by an upholstery shop. They cut away a 10" section of the factory foam where I had marked my riding position.
It's not perfect, as you can see the transition between the get and the foam because the gel is thicker than the seat foam in some spots.

In my conversation with them earlier this week (and pasted in an above post), they are working on the Comfort seat for the Varg and hope to have it out soon (over the winter). They already have the Varg Race 2.0 kit up for sale. I'll buy a standard Comfort seat kit over the winter when they come out.

For those unfamiliar with how Seat Concepts make their seats, their Comfort seat line uses more supportive foam (there are different densities they can make and use). The front area of the Comfort seat, where you sit, when slid forward riding aggressively, is about the same width and height as stock, but as you move further back on the seat, the seat is thicker (wider) to give a flatter and more supportive seat. The standard Comfort seat is always about the same height as stock. They do make molds for each seat foam shape/version and sounds like they have made one for the comfort seat (stock height but wider). They have to make a different mold for the tall and short version of the Comfort seat for each model because they have to fit on the specific seat pan. The more people that request these, though, the more likely they are to make a mold and offer them.

Then they usually start with the most in-demand version, hence the Varg Race 2.0 already being available. Now they are working on the standard Comfort. With enough demand, they usually then follow that up with the Tall and Short versions of the Comfort. Most of the height difference is at the front of the seat, meaning they take out seat slope at the front to make it taller or really dish it out for the short version. They adjust the seat foam density based on the height of the seat, too. Their seat foam liquid is put in the mold. They can use different formulas that they have available to make the foam different density in the same mold.
I had a seat made for my YZ450F snowbike and went with the tall version of their comfort seat but had them use one density softer, because the foam acts a bit more rigid in the temps I ride. It worked out great. They will discuss and help you decide which foam density to make for a custom seat, but on those custom density seats, they are non-refundable/exchangeable like their stocked seats.

When they first offer these for a new bike, they are just kits (foam and seat cover) and you have to install on OEM seatpan). If seats get super popular, they create their own run of a seat pan. They are OEM dimensions, though they say the sometimes make improvements. They do not widen the seat pan itself. I've had other dual sport seats where the aftermarket manufacturers make the seat pans wider, but Seat Concepts says their pans are OEM dimensions.

I mean both. The XL comfort seat has thicker (taller) and wider rear padding. The front has a little more as well, but it's narrow for getting up on the tank and griping with your knees. I would prefer even more thicker padding, or some kind of relief for my tailbone. I've seen seats with the cutouts. I'm not sure how affective that is, but it makes sense. I've seen it employed in house saddles and bicycle seats.

I use MTB seats with the center cutout. Have seen some cruiser solo seats with them but never a dirtbike seat. That would be an investing concept to experiment with.
