When you line up on an alien electric bike

I bet all you other racers out there can relate. This happens nearly every time i line up on the gate waiting for my moto.

I didn't go racing yesterday. Bummer. My whole week went like hell, and I haven't practiced for almost a month due to the wet weather. Hopefully next week.

That is a great picture and really shows the reaction many other riders (and non-riders) have to these bikes. When I ride my EXR on the street it always attracts a crowd. I've even had pedestrians jog up the street to ask questions when I stopped at a red light after passing them. A few weeks ago I had stopped for breakfast in a nearby town and there were six people gathered around the bike when I came back out.

And a sidenote: This particular town has free motorcycle/scooter parking right in the city center to encourage alternate transportation, but it is restricted to 250cc and smaller machines. Otherwise, all parking is metered. The local police say no problem using these spaces with my ALTA. My registration and title say "0 cc" displacement.

Same here. I thought I had a road rage incident, turned out the guy was just following me trying to get me stop for a minute.
