Which part should I install first...?

Just bought an MXR today. So of course I go out to one of my favorite dirt bike vendors to see what parts they have for the Alta. Which one of these should I get first?

I was thinking the same thing. If I get the right piston setup, I could practically double the displacement of the bike.

I couldn't find the big bore kit listed... Perhaps just a cam upgrade will help?

Also look at getting some powervalve lube and upgraded reeds for the intake, that will wake things up.

I would be the crank with its heavy flywheels, I heard it can help with traction on the Alta.

I would start with the air cleaner. Clean air is a necessity for all engines.

It has crossed my mind to find one of my old mufflers, and attach it to the Alta somehow. But modify the muffler to add an access door w/lock, so I can store stuff like keys, wallet, phone, tools, beer, etc. The possibilities are endless. The Exhaust Vault(tm) or Muffler Trunk(tm) or some such catchy moniker.

That TurboSpoke is great. @TCMB371 needed one or two of those for his SuperCross races so the people he was trying to pass could hear him coming. (maybe pointed forwards ! )
