Unfortunately, they are scared, and attached to the FIM. Slow walking it. Waiting on Honda like everyone else... Jase does a good job of questioning the whole promoter business model. No changes due to OEM control of the sport. This WSX guy is already brainwashed to sell bikes for OEM's. Rider's contracts rule the day.

Noncommittal for sure, "yes I'll always have that conversation" LMAO

Of course X Games set a precedent: electrics won so they've been banned the next year.

Obviously I don't think Starks would win right away in AMA SX nor WSX as they did in AX UK but if OEMs don't want to race against them it's not to spare Stark blushes...
This year Dean Wilson won every round in AX UK / AX world tour except one round won by Jorge Zaragoza and one round won by Michael Hicks, both on Vargs. And Deano showed he's still a top 10 AMA SX rider.

The ultimate hypocrisy is when they say "how does it look, what kind of rules should we make", man, they've been pro racing SX/AX for 2 years now, the FIM has issued clear guidelines, technical rules and safety rules, there's literally nothing left to figure out, it's just up to you to authorize them to race like other series are actually doing. Just like the FIM finally made them legal to race in Superenduro 2025 as he says.

Zaragoza won in Argentina SX 2025, ranked 7th in France SX tour 2024 SX1 championship (best result of 4th), Irsuti ranked 5th in SX2 (with a podium to his name).

Just watch how fast Zaragoza, Irsuti and Hicks get in SX tour 2025.

The only answer from current OEMs to electrics is fear, fear of losing races, fear of losing (even more) market shares. That's a shame but I'm pretty sure they now got their heads out of the sand.

There are credible rumors that Stark might have an official team in WSX this year.

Starks are already legal to race in FIM series (Superenduro) so shouldn't be that difficult to adapt technical and safety rules, then obviously that would be a great differentiator with the AMA and provide endless coverage for the series since it's such a hot topic.

Would love to see Hicks and Zaragoza in there.

Great news, I haven't seen it yet. WSX is foolish not to be all inclusive, they are desperate for eyeballs and press, and this would have everyone talking about them.

Electric bikes need to go race in there own class .or classes.
Read the rules.
It does not say blow ins that want to race
a bike that does not meet the rules may just jump in
Then expect a change in rules to suit them.
