A lot of people have asked for this and I just thought I would put it here for easier access. Some of this data overlaps and me be redundant and contradicting. It is just a collection of data, good luck with it. I hope it helps
And here is the link for the "New Version Cable"

Thanks for info Don, on Mike Reyes info. I just completed the DR350 1991 rescue and resto with Q273 hub motor and votol em350, we did a total tear down and replaced everthing like bearings etc, sandblasted and powder coat frame, see attach pics of before and after. 3d printed a mount for converting the front brake from axial to Radial then machined the mount our of alloy, very tight tolerances with 17in front Rim i got from QS motor. i like the new SCJ3622-A TFT round display also. Bike sat under a tarp for 15 years on farm prior to Jan 2025 in the bush about 2 hrs north west of Sydney

Interesting build - what is your battery specs - also how does the hub motor perform, top speed and is capable of off road

Currently it has the old amorge power pack from My klx super moto EV 72v 48ah, once i have completed testing a few things i will send amorge the dimensions of the current battery box to get a have a custom one made, A few Times the battery went into over current protect shutdown. I havent much ride time since getting the bike on 2 wheels and under own power but have hit 100km/h or 60mph, over all the weight is 10kg/22lbs lower than stock.
Registration for bikes/cars 30 years or older here is $50AUD a year/$35 USD which includes 60 days a year riding/driving and third part insurance, if part of a classic or vintage car/bike club. Apparently its OK to be a EV conversion if the club is ok with it.
The Hub performs OK its not great on take off, but currently im using Don's EM260 settings he sent me 18 months ago for the KLX Mid Drive, with Max amps dailed down and some other minor changes, this is why i wish to get in contact with Mike Reyes.
Offroad im not sure how it will be, 17in rims and a heavy rear hub/wheel 26kg/57lbs with tyre.
Tubeless Tyres 60% road and 40% off road. Fire Trails will be Fine, alot of national park/ state forest nearby. Project started out by saving the bike from rusting away under the Tarp to EV conversion.
I will post a full build run down and pics soon, thanks for your interest.
