Lowered pegs

I think I'm going to buy a set of footpegs for my EX. Some vendors offer an option of lowering the pegs e.g. 5mm. On my Gasgas, there are two positions, and I have always used the lowest position of the pegs there with no ill effects other than perhaps hitting some obstacles a bit more often.

Any experience with riding with lowered pegs on the Varg EX?
What about placing the pegs further back, as many vendors also offer?

The problem is that I have to decide before ordering. If I could get a set of adjustable pegs, I could of course experiment myself.
I am aware of the Fastway pegs offering two positions, but they are so expensive...

Aren't there cheap ones in multiple positions? I often use cheap inferior stuff from Aliexpress to test. Sometimes the stuff ends up being not so inferior wich is a big bonus!

I’m using these Hardline-X - Stark Varg EVO-3 enduro footpegs. Ordered through MX Guards
I cant find the specs but should be 5mm lower, 5mm back or something like that. For me it felt like it made the bike more stable on technical uphills. I’ve done about 70h on them and seem to hold up well.
Thanks, these are interesting! I have never heard of Hardline-X before, they didn't pop up during my googling. This is just what I want (I think), aluminum footpegs with replaceable screws instead og titanium or steel footpegs with sharp teeth that eventually gets dull.
On my previous Gasgas enduro bikes, I have used Talon and S3 versions of the same theme.
