I do not watch shit on the net all hype no reality .
Thats how i ended up with a bike that was touted as blowing away 450 mx bikes
But when i got it turns out its a heavy slow piece of unreliable shit i shouldn't have bothered with. stark mx1
The 1.0 did not cut it to be honest
I am not knocking the bike but it had a lot of problems
The list is too long so i will not bore you with that.
Has anyone been able to do some serious testing on this bike 1.2 mx
ie run it pretty much by yourself in a outdoor mx event
as in practice...
Thanks for reminding me too and theres nothing like eye candy when you are shopping
https://www.mxstore.com.au/p/Airoh-Strycker-Brave-Gloss-Grey-Helmet/HASTR103-c
I mostly just buy mid priced helmets and turn them over at least every 2 years .
Most expensive helmets your just paying for the fancy paint job.
I buy a new helmet at the beginning of every season use the old one for practise
and yes I make sure they are current (not old stock) and meet race...
I am slower on the stark
And it’s not just me the stark is just slower than a well ridden 450
I thought it was actually faster until I did some back to back testing(it feels fast)
The results left me dumbfounded
The 450 embarrassed the stark with its lap times
The bikes are too heavy and slow
It will take the next generation of electric bikes to be competitive
The current world super cross events
Are a good r and d exercise but little else
The current platforms available do not cut it
Anybody that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.
I found the 15 and even the 14 I didn’t have enough wheel speed in slower corners and it unloaded the rear easier coming out
Needs a few fixes mainly too much weight transfer well just too much weight
lol now the australian motorcycling association are telling me.
I cannot enter a certain event on a electric bike.
Debby Downer my ass more like shortening everything up for personnel gain.
The 450 still goes well at least I can enter a event on it.
A 2 hour race with 2 riders what the f is that.
Is there a marshall on every corner to help you pick the bike up if you fall off.
Maybe you could take time out for a lunch break so you can charge your bike
in between at the highway service centre.
2 riders are for 6 hour races or 3 for 8...
