Hi, Will take photos. Will disassemble when home to show.
To explain better. Removed cover plate and slightly chamfered out inside of indicator switch hole without removing material from outer or upper extent of hole. I think the original hole is a straight or parallel though very short hole, where mine is now chamfered slightly from the back or inside. I also removed minimal material from either side edge of the switch where it sits in the housing, noting the chamfer inside the cover plate hole seems to be what remedied the sticky switch more than material off the switch itself, which I initially did before back chamfering the hole in the plate.
I'd agree, machining tolerance variations are probably the difference between working well and sticking for all the switches.
It will obviously need cleaning occasionally or regularly depending on riding conditions etc. I will say, I much prefer having to do this to cleaning an ICE air filter and changing oil, not to mention having to work on other ICE components.
Cheers
