Hey everyone,

I just joined the forum and I’m on the hunt for some inspiration. The stock license plate holder on the Stark VARG EX is… let’s be honest, not the prettiest. I know a lot of you have probably built your own custom solutions or found cleaner setups, and I’d love to see what you’ve come up with.

👉 Post your custom license plate mounts, DIY ideas, or even setups you’ve spotted that look better than stock. Photos, links, and any tips on how you made them work would be awesome.

Looking forward to seeing what you’ve all
done!

Mine is a woods bike so real street legality and good looks aren't so important... It will end up bent and twisted no matter what. I'm also cheap so I try to use anything laying around the garage. Some of my fellow riders just bolt the license plate onto the bike with no backer but I feel like that is just asking a trip to the ER with stitches from cutting myself open. On this bike, I used a piece of 1/8" flat plastic that should keep the plate mostly flat and limit its ability to cut me open. I wanted to find a piece of a rubber mud flap which would be just the right amount of thickness and flexibility.

Pete

I’d really like to see a fully EU-legal license plate kit with compact blinkers and a taillight that plugs directly into the bike’s connectors. Haven’t been able to find one anywhere yet.

Highly recommend Roost Concepts Mullet plateholder, made for EX. See attached.

It's one thumbscrew to remove for trails, etc.

I have this on my 24 EX for 3-4 months. So far, very good! I haven’t bothered to remove it for woods riding yet and it’s taken several falls with out twisting or any sign of breakage.

I designed my own to avoid having to use the ugly stock one.

I sell it on my Etsy shop. Keep in mind the size and hole spacing is currently sized for US plates, but I'm happy to modify for non-US plate sizes as well.

Care to supply the STL for my use only? Save me 25 minutes of modeling and perhaps an Etsy competitor if I go through with it 🤣

I used an old license plate, some zip ties and the 3 low profile torx head bolts that came OEM on the stainless bracket.

You could use an old cooking sheet or anything you have laying around.
