    Inverter Overheating?

You can also look for coolant leaks. Some people reported leaks from the radiator, for example.

Anyone making stronger motor covers yet? Cracked my stock one

Here is another one: CMT Compositi | Right carbon crankcase protection for Stark Varg Stark Varg 2023 - 2024 They say it weighs 30 grams. I'm not an expert on the subject but I personally wouldn't buy a carbon part for protection aginst impacts.

    Motor/inverter venting? Is there any?

Maybe thermal expansion of air is managed using some kind of rubber bladder like the ones in the gaskets of brake fluid reservoir caps. Maybe the inverters are sealed in a dry room and there is a bladder somewhere inside, even though I don't recall having seen anything like that in pics of...

Questions: Track & Trail set-up. Charging & Transport.

Officially, the battery is not swappable: that's what A. Wass said in an interview. However, technically it can be done; the procedure to change a battery is shown in the specific video in the Stark's YouTube channel and, like mentioned in this post, someone does swap batteries. I see some...

    Varg footpegs and boots.

My already worn Sidi Crossfire 2 SRS with supermoto soles are in way better conditions after 30 hours of motocross with the Varg and the soles can be replaced anyways. BTW i'm a slow rider and surely not an instructor but those boots look worn too much in the center; maybe if you start riding...

    Stark Varg charging/starting issue

Well, this is how winners behave when they face problems! Those Vargs may not be as relaible as they should be yet and sometimes we may feel like we were a little bit part of their research and development, but I believe in what they do, I want them to succeed and I think they will. Go Stark!

    Stark no go, Nothing!

The first Varg was deleivered in the spring of 2023, so up to spring of 2025 they will all be covered by warranty. I think that then refurbished stuff will start making more sense and people will be more likely to be asked to ship back defective parts under warranty.

    Stark no go, Nothing!

I suppose that in some cases Stark can repair power units and batteries for a price much lower than a replacement and that so far they have shipped new ones, often without asking to send the used malfunctioning ones back, because: 1) Being all Vargs still under warranty to date, in each case...

They have released a video of the whole event, apparently. The final starts @ 3:23:20. The white flag @3:35:11 indicates the beginning of the last lap: Here are the results, from which I've learnt that Justin Bogle and Jack Brunell have raced with Vargs, too. Hill's result of the final from...

    Deals on Starks?

They have written "2025" in the title, but A. Wass said, in an interview, that in their opinion (and IMHO) it doesn't make sense to release a new model every year only because of a new number of year in a calendar and that, instead, they would rather introduce something like a Varg 2 when they...

    Stark open ended hand guards

I use the Acerbis X-Force for motocross, so just to protect my fingers and the throttle from chunks of mud thrown by spinning rear tyres. I don't know whether they are the sturdiest open ended guards but I doubt it because they look more elastic than strong; I think they can withstand falls by...

    Cold weather storage

According to the manual, you shouldn't charge a battery at less than 4°C, i. e. 40°F. Riding at sub freezing temperature as far as I've understood is not recommended but nor it is forbidden.

The FASTEST Car You CAN BUY! McMurtry Speirling Pure BREAKS RECORDS

Since only the prototype has it, I guess it could be a pitot tube to measure the speed of the air flow. I've also noticed the Molicel sticker on the car and found out that Molicel produces its cells...

In 2026 there will be an electric class in the World MX Championship

One problem I see with laptimes comparison is that in motocross the rider makes a huge difference and it seems to me that the bike doesn't matter as much. I would be a little surprised to see better laptimes from a professional but non-top rider using an electric bike than from a top rider using...

    Wing Seats

I love AJ's riding tips from his videos, which have helped me a lot and I find his opinions ineteresting. BTW I notice that Philip's master cylinders have been moved inwards, according to AJ's suggestions; I've done that, too and I like it. @Philip: do you feel the bulges of that seat while...

Stark rider triangle and bar position

Thanks to generative AI you can also see how he looked like!! I am a slow motocross rider, I use the standard geometry and I like it; I have only adjusted the brake levers and moved the master cylinders. I think that it's very subjective and that it depends a lot on the body of the rider...

In 2026 there will be an electric class in the World MX Championship

https://www.mxgp.com/news/introducing-mxep-%E2%80%93-mxgp-develop-electric-class-2026 The electric bikes will compete in a separate class but in the same weekends, so people will be able to see what they can do, to hear how they sound and to compare lap times, even though most likely the best...

Check if your bolts and screws are still there

I know, actually my personal version has links to pictures saved in a certain folder; in those pictures each fastener is shown while being tightened, but those pictures are screenshots from Stark's videos and I didn't feel like sharing them because I didn't want to have copyright issues. Another...

    Stark range video(s)

Actually what I understand @ 15:16 is that after five laps the two riders were metaphorically "out of battery" while their bike still had a SOC of 30% and therefore they asked the pro to discharge it completely, reaching 0% in an overall time of 5 hours and Wass predicted that, had they had the...
