This is what I did. Ran a zip tie through a short piece of rubber hose, around the brake line, back through the hose, then zip tied it around the bars. It allows for a little bit of movement, but keeps it away from the front brake line.

Just a little update on my Varg. New battery showed up on Wednesday. Took me about 30 minutes to install by my self. Press the power button, and still nothing. The light starts out red, then changes to a bright yellow color. Once I let off the button, the light just goes completely out...

I definitely wouldn't want to void my warranty. I don't understand why they wouldn't want these battery packs back. They could fix them and sell them as "reconditioned', for half price. They would sell like hot cakes.

It would be interesting to take it apart and see if the "control board" could be repaired. Then we would have a spare battery.
