I am getting a known good charger to check. hoping it is a charger problem

Hello out there and Merry Christmas! I have a fast charger for my 18 MXR that is causing me pain. At least I think its the charger.. Issue started just a while ago when I placed it on charge after a ride and all seemed to be working fine but it would show a complete charge ("charge complete")...

So you assuming the motor speed and only measuring at WOT? And of course the wheel diameter will change with speed albeit slightly. I have yet to run an EV on our dyno and want to get an accurate as possible measurement that I can prove repeatable which is our goal with any dyno run.

I am looking to do some testing using the Dynojet 250i that I use as a teaching aid for my class. Just how did you determine the dyno set up? As horsepower is a direct response to rpm and torque. I suppose my question is how did you measure rpm?

I'm thinking about running my Alta on a Dynojet 250i dyno that I have access to. I am sure that others have done it but are you using overall gear ratio turning the drum as a replacement for measuring RPM? If so, anyone know the OA ratio? (yes, I am being lazy...)

I work at Alfred State College down the road from Tall Pines and plan on putting together a team together made up of some of my students. I could bring my machine as a back up possibly if needed.

Latest firmware and the last edition of the MXR. I was blessed to also receive the factory laptop so I can explore and remove the codes once the battery is recharged.

Western New York rider here. Wont do anything with Empire but I know that there would be interest from other groups.

Mine also has a 35 and 36 code but after a recharge, I can erase them (I have a factory laptop). The bike runs fine with no other issues but I don't know if the breaks are serious at this time as charge rate appears to be fine.

I may take you up on that @Mark911 I lived in Corona for a few years during my time at AHM. I plan on heading out that way in the future and may contact you when that happens. What damage will occur if left as it is (other than maybe a quicker discharge rate)?
