I'd agree but most kids at my sons school don't know what a dirt bike is. As far as we know the only 2 kids with dirt bikes hang out at my place.

I have heat in an office in the garage. Rent would be cheap. No freebies until I have some business meetings. Trucking is in the shitter right now. Otherwise I would have an extra battery for it and an Alta laptop. I would give someone free room and board to fix dirt bikes and semi trucks/trailers.

I'm jealous of my kid! At his age I had a bicycle from my uncle's junk yard! He got a bike like that, a lowered KX65 with a Rekluse, 2 tracks at home, and a 3rd track next door. Should be a 4th track with big hills at our friends farm next year too. I really like helping kids learn to ride.

It's funny you guys say that. We were talking about starting him a YouTube channel. The biggest hurdle is we can't get internet at home except on our phones. No fast internet is available to us.

What about ATVs, sidexsides, golf carts, anything that would sell better than a dirt bike? Around my neck of the woods dirt bikes don't sell very well.

As much as I love my Alta, I think they should have produced some things that sell better than a dirt bike first. Maybe they would still be in business.

I think it would be cool, but I'm not willing to buy an expensive vehicle to drive on the road. Driving old cheap vehicles has allowed me to buy new dirt bikes over the years. If I was a multi-millionaire I'd buy one without much of a second thought.

Definitely an improvement. If those 2 holes were filled in, no one's knees would ever notice a thing. We don't need any venting on the back of the shrouds like a bike with radiators does.

Phillip, just curious and jealous. What do/did you do for a living that allows you to move and ride all year?

Just use the stock shape with the ribs filled in and smoothed out for our knees. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Try notifying anyone selling chargers on eBay to see if they can help. I'd rather someone steal my 500 conversion, than take my Alta.

I think 30 hp is enough considering hard core riders/racers are not going to be the ones buying it. I don't think it's aimed at the same guys who bought MXRs.

Hoping to have it by Christmas. Most dealers are not selling them. I think KTM dealers are allowed 2 bikes, while Husky dealers are allowed only one. There may be an exception for the largest dealers. Anyhow, expect to pay retail from what I've heard. The Husky costs $100 more than the KTM, but...
