Unfortunately it’s unlikely there will be a dealer at this point who will be willing or able to help. If you can happen to find a dealer who still has their laptop they will probably tell you they can’t do it without the Alta server being online. Another option would be @C5tor ’s loaner laptop...

That’s awesome! It’s great the amount of freestyle/stunt guys riding Altas. The more guys like Josh Hill that continue to ride them, the more people are realizing the benefits. Just makes me shake my head in disbelief that we only have a finite number of these bikes :cry:

Keep us posted, every troubleshooting experience is valuable information that can help the next guy!

At the end of the day if none of the easy stuff works out this sounds like it would be an issue with the on board charger. If there is a failure with the charger somewhere, then you would have to plan on removing it from the bike and finding someone who may be able to troubleshoot and repair...

Love it! Excellent idea this drive-in format. Plus two Alta performers, what’s not to like!

@Rashid510 might have a switch also. I would have thought a simple jumper plug would have worked...:unsure:

I’ve always had problems with Dunlops also. I put this Shinko 525 on for an off road race and I have to say I’m really happy with how it is wearing. It’s is a bit of a heavy tire but they are cheap and I can’t say anything bad about the performance.

Hmmm...just to rule out the unlikely possibility that there is a ground issue with your electric service, are you or have you tried an outlet on a different service or at least a separate circuit? I’m not familiar with the SM on board charger, but I can say the external chargers are VERY...

@OneLapper broke his off some time back as well. @Don Thuren made a batch of braces that adds a good bit of strength to the rear brake mounting. Rear brake master cylinder mount. Has it been broken? I’d definitely look to add something similar after your repair. I’m sure a good welder can...
