Mine had no issues that I was aware of either before the update.

I did another full charge with the 2.7kw. It took about an hour (on 120v if that is a factor) from the time the bike indicated full SOC till the charger shut off. The bike shut off about a minute later. Very interesting stuff Mark! Thanks!

Well, that's good to know. I have it charging right now on the 2.7kW. The SOC on the display is indicating full and the fan still runs on the this charger with the red light still lit indicating charging. I'm timing it to see how long it takes till everything shuts off.

To update this situation, the bike will in fact charge with this condition. I’m told the error is the result of a module imbalance within the battery pack. There are more than one reasons for the imbalance but most likely the issue is the result of a failed wirebond. This error happened...

It is appropriate in both areas, but this thread in my mind sets a standard for understanding how the battery is constructed, which is essential when talking about repairs. Perhaps let it here and link it in battery repair as a sticky?

Just to clarify the code 36 does not render it useless, it still charges and runs "normally". There would likely be a range reduction from this issue I'm told. But to answer your question, I haven't heard of anyone with the A pack bikes having these problems. At least not that they have...

I have completely charged one time since the fault. Additionally, it took a VERY long time (a full 45 minutes) from the time the charge meter showed full (and the chargers fan shut off) until the bike actually shut off.

I agree on several. I would think one specific to diagnostics and hacking firmware/software, maybe one specific to the battery since that will probably be an big issue in the future, another for other electrical and then maybe one big one for everything else.

Current firmware? 3 guys including myself (that we know of) only got the code after the new firmware was installed. The current firmware better detects these module imbalance issues.
