What gearing? For stock gearing, I feel map 3 would be easier then 250f bikes though...so if your doing it on a 250f (jumping from inside), map 3 should be easier. But the 2 tracks that had this style layout that I used to ride closed down, so never got to experience the alta on them.

Stock mxr 100 tire. Going to try a starcross 100.

You are too smooth. I have horrible throttle control, so I am in map 1 or 2 on hard pack and 3 for birthday cake/potting soil goodness! I have just changed my gearing to 13/47 yesterday but will not be able to ride for another 2 weeks. Excited to try the maps with the new gearing!

I actually like map 3, but I would like to tune one if possible to reset to factory later if I want.

This is great info but from what Fog and I have been seeing on our local track is that gearing up is for sure more efficient. The track speed range I would guess is 12 to 45mph range with average speed roughly around 30.

Ha ha, But honestly the aftermarket yz250f pegs that fit are a better option. I do need my handicap pegs!

Forgot to mention....so the wall outlet at the track we measured had 205V! Weird I know! But if you measure each hot with the ground it gets 115V which doesnt add up. We then did it with Fog's generator and it was 230V with same 115V on each hot. His for sure charges faster!

Like a Frisbee it flew off yesterday! Lasted probably longer then the original! haha. Fog said yesterday after it flew off that when he installs his new chain slider he will give me his old broken one which is only broken at the back which is better then mine which is broken front and back.
