It already does record a gps "track" of your ride, but it doesn't do anything to "guide" you as you could do with a gps trail app.
Not sure what they have planned for trail mode, but I don't expect it to have trail maps like a gps app can.
I have a screen protector on mine, but it cracked anyway, looks like there was an impact right at the edge of it.
There are screen protectors available, it is a Blackview BV6300 Pro.
Mine is cracked, so I ordered a replacement and some glue (Relife CP-0002).
I'm not going to replace it until I decide it's necessary.

I originally had mine in a Harbor Freight 3800 case because I could store all the cables inside, however, I found that after charging I rarely took the time to return the cables to inside the case. So I switched to a smaller 2800 case, and just keep the cables wrapped up (but the 120v adapter...
Got my bike at the beginning of May and I have had absolutely ZERO problems with it (except very minor phone connection issues usually solved by blanking and unblanking the screen).
I know this has not been everyone's experience, but I am super happy with mine, and I have not ridden my 300 since...
As I understand, I'm sure someone with more knowledge will correct me or add more info:
The battery storage is DC, but the motor is AC, probably 3 phase?
So, at the simplest level, the inverter converts the DC power to AC for the motor.
Well done @Chadx finding the "display over other apps" setting!
I turned that off, and did a brief test, and this is the best solution since I no longer have to stop the Stark app.
Regarding the screen going blank on the GPS app, I use the free Polaris ride command GPS app, which has a setting...
I edited my post #10 to add this: BTW, I never turned off bluetooth.
So we are getting different results, and I still think the most likely explanation is that for some reason your Stark app is not getting completely stopped.
I have an iPhone, so not a expert android user, but I suggest you...
Thanks for testing and replying with results. Last time I tried this, the Stark app was not triggered by changing maps, but I think the app was updated at least once since then.
I would suggest turning off bluetooth on the phone to prevent the Stark app from being triggered.
OK, in the middle...
This works, if you touch the square button, then fling the Stark app upward to force stop it, you can then use your navigation app to your heart's content without it being interrupted.
Stark recommends against doing this, because it will prevent warnings like overheating, etc.
The price to the consumer may be the same, but that means that Stark is providing some discount to the dealers so that they can make a profit from the sale.
So it's better for Stark to sell direct.
In the US, (in general) dealers may provide a discount, sacrificing some of their profit to make a...
