Any guesses on who purchased Alta? My money is on Zero Motorcycles. You combine the Alta dealers with Zero dealers and you have a large network. KTM would be even better!

I really want them to succeed. I so enjoy riding my ALTA MXR, I really love the very low maintenance aspect of it. Plus I really don't want to go back to an ICE bike!

If you are buying a used generator you can use a volt meter like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KXX2OYY/?tag=sce0f-20 which can test the Hz output. Be sure to test it under load by plugging in a space heater or two as that can make the Hz output change if the generator is not up...
