Sounds like they gave you the MSO/certificate of origin and the bike was never titled with a dmv.

Most company’s can make Alta graphics but don’t say they do on the websites. Shoot them an email and ask if they still do.

Why not buy it and send the battery to @Mark911 for repair? Seems like there is a good percentage chance that any mxr could have this happen, this way you can get the bike at a discount and have it fixed. Bonus it comes with spare parts too. Glws

I had cone valves on my Alta with 5.2 springs. It was okay. I think it’s just the Alta weight. And I’m 190 lbs so together that’s a lot of weight to hold up when jumping bigger jumps. like other have said…spring rate should be first then you can try more oil in forks to help with bottoming...
