Hi I planning to upgrade the firmware on my MXR2018. But im having trouble that MT won’t show the firmware version?. No need to upgrade if the correct version is installed, but why isn’t the existing version showing?. Should there be 2 UUID numbers showing?. Thanks Martin

I cant see the .alta directory when i acces the files?. I know its in danish but as you can see the .alta directory isen`t there. Another thing is that i get these 2 faults i cant clear in the mt? Is this normal when the model is a mxr.

I finally got the mt to work, and now it has begun to upload data. Just how much data is there? The bike has been synchronizing most of the day, and it’s still going. It says it has reached file 77/80.

Next issue is when trying to create the shortcut, i get this message when using the first command in the terminal: Missing operand after sudo chmod -R a+rwx/home/redshift/.alta Anyone has a fix for that?. Thanks

After typing this command it asks for a password?. I cant type anything, so what am i missing? Thanks

Yes i think it’s coming from the pump, I just think it’s pretty loud🤔. Im Inside the plummeting business, and it sounds like there’s air in the system. Unfortunately I can’t seem to add a video where i can display the sound. But again it’s hard to know when I haven’t got any comparison...

Is it normal that there is noise coming from what I think is the coolerant pump, when turning the bike on?. And btw, thanks for a awesome forum👍😄.

Is there any chance I might damage the battery if the newest firmware isn’t installed? I haven’t got the MT up and running yet, but the dealer told me that it was the latest firmware that was installed. Is there someway I can check this without having access to MT?. Thanks

My laptop is a 8GB, so I don’t think it’s a matter of to little capacity🤔. Maybe I should try with a new clean laptop an see how it turns out.

Hi Philip It turns out that the charger that comes with the MXR I just bought, is a rapid charger so now the question is if I need a regular charger also?. I read that it’s a good idea to have both options in terms of battery life, but I don’t know if it’s true or not? I live in Denmark...
