Firmware update MXR2018

Hi

I planning to upgrade the firmware on my MXR2018. But im having trouble that MT won’t show the firmware version?.

No need to upgrade if the correct version is installed, but why isn’t the existing version showing?.

Should there be 2 UUID numbers showing?.

Based on the versions of each mcu firmware, you have 1.4.1 installed.

Use the loader tab to upload 1.5.1 RC1 onto the bike.

Just updated the bike with the new FW and everything went smoothly.

In terms of the unknown uuid. How come this is showing?.

That typically happens when either the recommended_fw.json file isn't placed in the correct directory, permissions are wrong in that directory, the serial number isn't found in the recommended_fw.json file, or you have downloaded log files from another bike on that machine.

Either way, it doesn't really matter. The loader tab contains the functionality needed to update firmware on the bike in a much easier fashion than using the "Update Firmware" button.
