    Swapping MXR/EXR front suspension

Also, no worries if you need to change springs in the XPLOR48. They are super easy to work on. You'll just need the WP cap wrench, and a 24mm or adjustable wrench, and of course the new spring. Remove front number plate front wheel, and unbolt the front brake caliper from the bracket on the...

    Swapping MXR/EXR front suspension

Yeah, the stock springs should be pretty close for 165lbs. I'm 185-190 and they are soft. but then again I mostly ride my EXR on vet motocross tracks. The XPLOR48 is meant for offroad and soaking up roots/chatter/etc, and i think it does that pretty well.

    Swapping MXR/EXR front suspension

They'll bolt right up. The EXR has the XPLOR48 coil spring forks, no air pump needed or required, but you will need to get the right springs for your weigh. Its a lot softer feeling than the MXR's AER48.

Dyno comparison Alta Vs two stroke and four stroke

Also, to get a better sense of how the MXR compares in raw accelaration, it would be cool to see dyno graphs with speed on the x axis and then run each bike up to something like 65mph, running the gas bikes through their gears in the process.

Dyno comparison Alta Vs two stroke and four stroke

I would love to see the bike's log files for the dyno runs. That would be some good looking data to digest. Any chance you'd be willing to hook up MultiTool to the bike and download the log files of the dyno run(s)?

Cone valve wp forks on an Alta

Wondering if that new, shiny, fancy, WP XACT PRO Shock with slanted bladder canister would clear our swingarm without any needed modification.... I did just get my work bonus....:LOL:

Uploading SM maps to the EX?

Max power is dependent on the battery type, not so much the throttle maps.

    Electric clutch

I could have definitely benefited from having a "Throttle Tamer" lever on the left bar when i got in hairy situations. When you're leaned way off the back of the bike after an OJ, for example, its was easier to move your finger forward to grab a lever than to roll your throttle hand forward.

    Simple DIY battery mud shield

Yeah, for sure. Fortunately, here in SoCal we don't have to deal with mud very often. Unfortunately we have to deal with high temperatures, though, and at my skill level these days thermal limiting has become an issue.

    Simple DIY battery mud shield

I think i'd prefer a vented front guard to allow some air to flow over the battery. Break out the holesaw! :D

    TCMB 3D Printed Parts

No squeaking here! The plastic is actually really smooth so the brake line slides in the bracket probably smoother than the stock guide.
