    Alta Multitool Download

We'll need to test out a brand new display on the bike. I'm thinking the displays come without the firmware loaded on it and you just simply need to upload the firmware to it through this multitool in order to allow it to function on the bike.

Wow, thank you for posting this! Now everyone can monitor their bikes. And looking at Rashid's posts, you included the latest firmware for each bike. Sweet! OneLapper, i shot you a PM about the cable.

My quest for a perfect Alta Redshift motocross suspension (Part 1)

I'm pretty much a legit B rider and weigh 190lbs naked. I jumped up to a 6.4 spring and it feels much better. I'm also running 160psi in the forks with stock valving at the moment. The forks are definitely valved too soft for my skill level. I'll be stiffening up the compression here pretty soon.

Just speculating here, but i'm assuming the display just needs the firmware loaded on to it, and that's why you need to connect it to a laptop.

Creating the Alta successor: requesting your feedback

I'm holding out for the Tesla pickup truck with autopilot that will drive me from my house to the track with my bike in the back. Oh, and the truck will charge my bike in between motos. No need for a generator. I will be content for years with that setup.

Want to buy Ex front wheel spacers

My question was in regards to the caliper bracket. I'm assuming i'll need to snag one off a KTM/husky as well, otherwise source 7mm spacers and use the stock Alta caliper bracket. When i used Mark's CV's, he had a factory KTM brake caliper and bracket that i used. I wasn't using the stock Alta...

    ALTA negatives

If you are not using the rear brake, you are not braking fast enough. The bike doesn't have enough engine braking to warrant not using the rear brake. Usually i'll completely lock up the rear wheel and "rear steer" the bike into a rut or corner while modulating the front brake. If you pay...

Want to buy Ex front wheel spacers

When i ran Mark's 52mm CV's I used a set of triples he had from a ~2012 KTM that required us to extend the steering stops a little. I didn't notice the minor decrease in lock angle.

Want to buy Ex front wheel spacers

Just to clarify, when swapping over to the KTM/Husky triple clamps and front wheel, i'll also need the stock brake caliper hanger from a KTM as well? Otherwise, i'd need a 7mm spacer to move the caliper inward? I'd rather go the KTM/Husky triple clamp route as our stock triple clamps are not...

    Knee braces - which one?

Thats only on the first version of the braces (which i had). They initially used a braided steel cable that would fray over time. It happened to me and they sent me the nylon cables that come on the new braces free of charge. Changing the cable was easy. Any new mobius braces you buy today will...

    Alta Factory Flat Tracker.

Were you running a different size reduction gear setup? Or what was the reasoning for that?

    Alta Factory Flat Tracker.

What was the reasoning for hollowing out the side frame crossbars? Saving weight? More frame flex? Did you ever weigh the bike? By the way, i dig those semi-polished reduction gear covers!

    Knee braces - which one?

I have been using the Mobius braces since 2016. I will not ride without them. They fit very well and don't slide around on me at all.
