@DonCox it looks like my battery will drop right into your old CRF 450 chassis. We started on the modified battery mount this morning.

Thank you @halg . I modeled everything in 3D CAD and CNC cut all the pieces. Then I TIG welded everything together. Across the bottom are two 3/4" aluminum bars that bolt in to support the base of the battery. Everything is super solid.

Everyday the project gets closer to completion.

@DonCox the throttle on your KTM felt great. I have a cable e-throttle from E&C. What needs to be done to connect it to the Votol controller?

My Surron throttle feels way too sensitive. Does anyone have a recommendation for a throttle that offers better modulation? What about the Hirschmann e-throttle?

Fear not, the battery will arrive. It is a bummer the airfare problem. If it were up to me, I'd request a discount on the second battery. I will say that my battery is awesome. You will be stoked with yours.

Just got my amazing Amorge battery today. Dropped the battery in and took the Frankencycle for her first ride. All I can say is wow! Big thank you to @DonCox

I just received this email from Allen at Amorge: " Maybe the ship is delayed a little. It will usually arrive at the port this week, and then clear customs and dispatch next week. You will usually receive the battery within two weeks.

We're in the same situation. I'm ready to hook up the battery and go. I bought an 84v variable rate high-speed battery charger. I'm tempted to connect it to the battery leads to spin up the motor. Any thoughts?

I too have received no information about the sea shipment from Amorge. My order was placed on or about November 20th. From what I've heard, we should expect the shipment to take 45 days or more.it is super hard to wait patiently. It looks like you've been using your time to refine your bike...

Thank you @DonCox for all your great tips. I agree with you opinions on the noisy generators. I have a big 6kw 110v/220v MQ generator and a smaller 3500 watt 110v generator. In both cases I place a styrofoam igloo over the to reduce the ruckus! I went ahead and ordered a charger from China...

Very nice build! Are you using the LHRB Honda cable OX- Brake? We are on a similar path. I too am waiting for my Amorge 20s14p battery to arrive.

Hey Guys, I'm looking to add a 72v to 12v buck converter. The 12v circuit would be used for running less than 50w of accessories such as a water pump, and a GPS. Any buck converter recommendations?
