    Mortch E-motos and YZ250F Conversion

Right on Bayo, some beautiful parts of NJ out there. And 5kw with a 4 sp tranny, sounds interesting.

    Mortch E-motos and YZ250F Conversion

Bayo, as a former/fellow east coaster, born in the Bronx, raised in North NJ, I'm counting on you to go see this Kolter Banshee thing and take it for a test ride. And report back to us immediately. Like before you drive home. Lol.

    The Storm Bee is out!

Did you watch the David Knight video? He really likes it. The riding he's doing on it looks fairly gnarly. It looks way more capable then a Zero FX. From what I've been learning about the Storm Bee it looks like a budget Alta. Not as powerful, not as much range, about the same weight, not as...

    Display Deleter

That is interesting. I find the regen on my '18 MXR, map 2 & 3 is like dropping a boat anchor. If I roll off the throttle going down hill and let the bike "coast" it will slowly slow down until it stops. Doesn't feel like I'm getting much charge sent back to the battery since I can't let it stay...

    Something new is coming...

Needs less information and a shorter video.

    The Storm Bee is out!

And this recent review from Switzerland, its looking decent. I'm very interested on how it performs off road, range, and riding time. No delivery date yet.

    Display Deleter

Thanks Bodie. Good luck with the project, sounds like another great option to help keep these bikes running.

    SUR-RON MX

Is this it? I don't recall ever seeing those in my neck of the woods, cool little bike.

    SUR-RON MX

Ha ha, that is awesome. clueless youth memories, the best. Udo Gietl, the engine builder for the '70's BMW Superbike effort out of Butler & Smith in New Jersey lived up the street from me. I remember seeing his personal R90 I think it was, it had a custom blue suede seat that his mother had...

    Display Deleter

Just to be clear, this would replace the current display? Is there a provision to have the original display (entire unit) plugged in and also functioning? At least one member has relocated their display to keep it safe. Would be nice to keep the original display functioning and relocated if...

    SUR-RON MX

It's probably time for me to stop posting how I'm a tall freak of nature and don't fit on x e-dirt bike and just accept it, Lol. I can just barely fit on a regular full sized dirt bike, but not on so many of the e-dirt bikes, that's what's killing me. Oh well. Waiting on Honda, KTM, Yamaha to...

    SUR-RON MX

I wish the Light Bee was physically larger all around, I'd snap one up in a heartbeat. At 6'5", its no bueno para mi. Meanwhile I'm waiting on the Ubco FRX1 and the CZEM Drill One to be released in the US, but I'm not to confident I'll fit any better on one of those. Damn it, Lol.

Elisava students create the first 100% electric off-road sports rescue motorcycle

Agreed, not sure what makes it better for rescue then any other electric dirt bike. And it looks like another dirt bike designed and built by people that don't have an extensive history riding and wrenching on dirt bikes. Swingarm looks flimsy, especially with that rear tire, looks like a big...

Storm Bee riden by David Knight

I’ve literally never seen a realistic mileage range spec from an electric motorcycle or bicycle mfr ever. Tesla has the closest estimates to reality that I’ve seen, probably because the federal regulations on EPA mileage claims. I generally subtract 1/4 to 1/2 the stated range from all the...

MSC Engineering YZ conversion ready for track testing

Very impressive, nice work. Why did you go with all the KTM bits (wheels, WP suspension, KTM swingarm/linkage, etc) vs keeping the stock YZ bits?

Storm Bee riden by David Knight

Very cool. Its hard to tell, but it looks like the rear shock is oriented more vertically, or slightly forward vs being slanted backwards the way it appeared in prior photos/videos. Specs: Peak Motor Output: 22.5KW Max. Torque: 520Nm Top Speed: 68mph Range: 62 miles (@30mph) Battery Type...
