    Perry Mountain 24 Hour Challenge -- June 1-2, 2019

I don't have a truck so getting my bike that far east might take some doing, plus I haven't run a course like that in years, since the 24 hour race in Eastern Washington 5+ years back, but the thought of being on an all electric team does sound pretty fun.

Rear axle blocks KTM?? Flag mount

Do you happen to know any specific year/model KTM that has that rear axle? It'll make ordering blocks easier as most of the sites tend to want a year and model.

Time for a mea culpa, I knew I was an idiot when it came to electronics, but even so, I didn't realize quite how little I knew. One of the things I "thought" I knew was that lights don't care what positive and negative is. Turns out LED's do  After trying to reproduce my initial result...

Alta Redshift EXR vs Zero FX (Decision Making)

I have both and would say that if you wanted to dual sport it's the lack of an on-board charger, but then again, the on-board charger is slow, and you can't charge at just any old charging station like you can with a zero anyway so a bit of a moot point. You won't be doing any real dual...

Alta Redshift EXR vs Zero FX (Decision Making)

Alta's also power throttle when low on battery. Zeros are a good deal heavier which mattered a lot to me when riding off-road. For on-road the ability to charge zero's wherever is hard to beat. Nobody has come up with a way to charge Alta's via J1772 yet. There is a possible solution at...

Interesting. This reminds me, I need to find out where our little flasher blocks are located on our bikes, or is it all digital these days?

That area under the seat always catches my eye too, like someone could make a little container out of it somehow, keep your toolkit or a spare tube in there.

Newest Alta add on - a horn!

Wait, yours didn't come with a horn? How are you supposed to pass?!?

I believe that's the nicest offer I've ever received over the internet, made my day, thank you.. Heck yeah I'll take them. I'll dm you my contact info.

    LED light options

I guess, technically, I say they work "fine" but they do blink quickly, it just doesn't bother me.

    LED light options

I have the NRC fronts on my SM (and the rear too) and they work fine. Not sure if NRC added a resistor or something to make them work? Works case I could use them on my EXR but it sure would be nice to just use the ones I already have on my handguards.

    LED light options

I gave the Zeta handguards with LED blinkers in them a try. No luck so far. I tried a few different resisters that @rayivers had recommended might work but no luck. I don't know anything about electrical though so don't have much to go on, my best idea to try next is knowing that they work...

Rumor: Harley-Davidson and Alta Motors Are Parting Ways

I understand your desire to hear the latest gossip but I'll push back a bit and say, no, we don't deserve an update in any way. When it's public information it will be released. If Judas isn't talking about it, when he seems so happy to jump into other things, I imagine someone at his company...

    Recent Press & Observation

I didn't think about Arenacross but now that you mention it, that might be a pretty good way to get a foot in the door.

    2019 / 2020 wish list

I would love to know. I picked up a set of Zeta handguards with led blinkers in the handguard shields, before mounting I tested them and it just happened the key was on, so I unplugged the stock blinker, plugged in the zeta, bingo, it worked, so I turned the bike off, uncounted stock units...

    '18 EX Mods (so far)

The point is not to use all but a sliver, it's to use it all, precisely so you're not to stiff everywhere else. Bottoming out is ok. Just try to remember back when you were a kid riding a bicycle with no suspension, that's all that happens when you run out of travel, you use your body, no big...

    '18 EX Mods (so far)

I just meant bottom out as in use all of your travel. I suppose everyone has different thoughts on it but I was always of the mindset if you don't use all of your travel, say once a lap on a track or once a ride in the woods, then you're not using it all and it's stiffer than it needs to be...

    '18 EX Mods (so far)

Did you find a way to mount the fender eliminator that can handle bottoming the rear suspension out without damaging the fender eliminator? Others here have said they have interference when they bottom out even with the place removed so I'm curious if your experience was different or if you...

Ty Tremaine To Race Redshift EXR In 2018 Endurocross Series

How does it show that the bike needs work exactly? If you removed the Alta would you say Cooper Abbott's 9th place means the KTM needs some work? Isn't it possible Ty Tremaine came in behind Geoff Aaron because Aaron is a badass on a bike? I'm waiting until I can see the race to form any...
