I went all iMac three years ago just for the challenge. It did not disappoint. Ethan, R&D guy was ther with his dad. Twas cool. Took Ty’s bike out on the MX track. Impressive. But you knew that. My MX is better better set up for the trail riding I do.

Typically 30 to 40 miles... Just the other day I met a guy, Steve, with a new ‘17 MX. He was quick, and I blew my charge demonstrating that I could be too. I got in 33.4 miles and 2.4 hours before the display flashed the low battery warning, ie, blinkey mode.

True, when I am rolling the TM around I sure think “wow, this is light!”

We went to Stonyford in the Mendocino National Forest and I did not have a generator. Now I have to spend an hour cleaning the TM. I sure like the Alta better. Though I suppose I would still have an Ice bike to clean, as my typical MO is ride it while the Alta is charging.

I did the "Wild Hare" a year ago and finished at almost two hours. I'm slow. The pic is of two if Eric's friends who led the race. Until they ran out of battery at a little over an hour. They spoke French.

Someone around here did my hill on the SM. Mt Hamilton Rd is 40 miles and a little over 4K vertical, up and back. I recall they made it, barely. Hammering.

Today, 32 miles, indicated 2.3 hours, map 3, 1/4 of the charge left. I have an 18" rear wheel. I rode with Eric who has a new EX and he ran his battery down to blinky. He rides faster than me most the time, and then he waits for me.
