    Electric clutch

You can get 50hp out of the MXR for about 25 minutes straight. But it is also possible to tweak it to produce 100hp for a few seconds without overheating anything. It would be cool to have an option to have more power for some jumps and for passing.

Hahaha! No, I am not living in the van by the river. Although I can, if I want to. LOL!

    My Moto Van build thread

Yesterday, I added a second MaxxAir roof fan in the rear for cross-ventilation. Makes for a better night sleep and better cooling on hot days. I am attending a business conference for the next two days and I am planning to stay in my van at night to save $500 on the overpriced hotel. Guess...

    Storm Bee

Are you saying it will have twice the range of the Alta? Or does "hammering" mean trail riding with an average speed of 17 mph? :D

    Electric clutch

Some people (not me) have a quicker left finger than their right wrist. That is the only reason that I could think of. A "clutch" could also be used to produce more than 50ph for short bursts. But for us, this would require hacking the firmware of the motor current sensor. That would be helpful...

    Electric clutch

If you can hack the firmware, you can add anything. Alternatively, you can add a controller that alters the throttle input based on the clutch lever position.

Re-springing a 2017 Alta Redshift MX (and then revalving too)

I've just read up on the RT LS kit. Yes, I did plug up those holes when I had my first encounter with the 4CS forks back in 2015. One of them works like a compression bleed and the other as a rebound bleed. You could probably use this RT LS kit with this revalve but you might have to back out...

Re-springing a 2017 Alta Redshift MX (and then revalving too)

Yes, I did use the RaceTech base valves. You also have to flip the white/right leg compression needle valve upside down so that you have two rebound clickers at the top and two RT compression clickers at the bottom. I am not familiar with the RT low-speed control kit, sorry.

More pictures of scantily clad handsome men from Fog. Nothing is wrong with that, the times are changing. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Cone valve wp forks on an Alta

That is pretty awesome! I like the sound quality, there is only the wind and the clean sound of the electric bikes.

    Acerbis Plastics Tools

My guess is that they are looking for a reason not to scrap this tooling. Enter they want us to order parts, or pay them some storage fee until we do decide to order parts. .

    Acerbis Plastics Tools

Could we then buy some more delta wings from whoever made them?
  14. Philip

    Acerbis Plastics Tools

I think we could use some more "delta wings". I think we are all out, and some owners have seized brass inserts that are spinning. AFAIK, all other parts are available in quantities that we can't consume any time soon. But we should ask @ayden_kry to confirm that.

    Max regen and flywheels

Thank you. Apparently, we have already seen these in his pictures. But they look like they are stock gears. I do not see any extra weight added to them. Am I wrong?

    Max regen and flywheels

Ha! You have one?!! I need the total weight. Also, I want to take a look at where the metal is added and where the welds are. Could you post a picture?

    TCMB 3D Printed Parts

I want one of those thumb wheels. In red or black please. Hope you are going to make some for sale. Here is my "tool-less" solution to all other suspension screws:

    TCMB 3D Printed Parts

I like! Especially the thumb wheel. Now I wish I still had my Kreft Revalve Control suspension, and I wish it had worked for me. Then I would be thumbing those HSC screws every day! I think part of the problem with the stock fender brake design is that the two front fender bolts are too far...

    Max regen and flywheels

I am pretty sure not. Pyndon has not logged in since last April, so he is not receiving those @Pyndon notifications. They stop after two months of inactivity.

    Max regen and flywheels

So all the flywheels of different weigh were steel rings welded to the stock gears? What were the weights of those additional flywheels?
