I have washed my bike a few times now and the switch has been ok and from what I read here and with other as the switch failing I guess the answer would be to cover the switch up with a water tight bag when washing to avoid any moisture going inside and having these issues. I can confirm that I've done 48 miles of road and off road use and got home on 1 percent battery... Definitely more road and doing 40 mph constantly which is where the battery gets drained a lot. Very happy with the battery life 😀

The number one mod for enduro would definitely be to revalve the stock suspension... I've done mine in the UK with a reputable shop and it's the best thing that I can think of... Bike feels so much more compliant and it glides of small bumps and it's just phenomenal...
