the dealer where I bought the bike is now out of business so that's a dead end and I don't know of any other Alta dealers in my area. if I can buy a laptop that runs linox how can I go about updating my firmware? ie..what do I need and how do I do it? I really love this bike and don't want it...

the only Alta dealer that I knew of in the vicinity was stumpys (where I bought the bike) and they are not answering their phone. I don't know if it's a covid thing, they're on vacation or if they've gone out of business. I can't find any info online and I don't know how to find out what dealers...

while battery technology needs to, and will, advance, I believe that this is only the first baby step and not a giant leap forward. they are talking about low output batteries not electric bikes and/or cars. but still a good start. I only read this because my Alta sm is refusing to charge right...

I have continuity between ground plug and bike frame so I am assuming plug is intact. thanks for the guess though every thought helps

thanks but I have a lot of other options to check first. I really want to keep the charging system (method) I have. this is a street bike and I like to ride to work which is 3/4 charge from home. I really don't want to carry and set up a charger at work. still thanks for the input it is greatly...

yes sir I have tried many extension cords with many outlets and cycled key and kill switch whilst jiggling connections. thanks for the thoughts though any ideas are helpful
