I have been using this: It meets or exceeds GL-5. Anyone use something else?

Maine - Any roadblocks or smooth sailing?

Interesting. Stark has been really good about parts and etc. for me at least. Did you compare the VIN to what they sent you in the email? My paperwork was off and the dealer and Stark corrected it immediately. Hope you get it by the weekend!!!:ricky:

    Anti-Theft?!

That is why it is good to get in now before the restrictions and taxers further sink their teeth in. Many of the benies associated with adopting E are evaporating quickly. The ICE folks have spread FUD too and it is working on the folks unwilling to be early adopters. Plus, there have been...

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Hi @Foss thanks for the great info on the alternative. Amazon ships it in a day here. If you don't mind me asking, why is your motor going back?

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

No. I used a clearly marked T30 both snap-on and craftsman. My guess is it was way over torqued at the factory and that is why so many folks are stripping them. It is cheap shit and if it wasn't over torqued it was poorly spec'd.

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Seems like you would really have to work to get a pressure washer to get water into that little hose even if you tried.:muutt: My bike has gone pretty deep into streams and puddles with rainy spring season. My oil was slightly milky not like some of the vids I have seen. Thanks for pinging them.

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

The bolt is complete shit. I thought it was the freebie toolset at first but I used snap-ons and craftsman high quality torx with good tools and it still stripped. The torque spec is likely wrong or the heat/cool impact wasn't well accounted for. My bike has about 5 hours on it. You can chisel...

Maine - Any roadblocks or smooth sailing?

Awesome!! Mine came faster than expected too. Make sure you check your certificate a few bikes shipped to East Coast dealers had wrong facts on the certs. The shop tested and made sure it was all correct and also followed up to make sure I got the correct cert. No real issue but for resale you...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Agreed. My quibble was the FAQ saying one thing and the manual saying something else. Also I was guessing that the Stark would be highly sealed given that generally E and water don't play well together. But I will take care not blast the mud off of it. I ride mostly tough trails, enduro, and...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Agreed pressure and submersion aren't the same and the sealing is not subject the same contact area nor conversely the potential duration of exposure (say duration leading to seepage in the case of submersion). But I really think it is more about assertions in the documentation and the...

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

People have reported similar problems with the Anker in charge tests with cars.

Power station? Eco Flow or Anker SOLIX F3800

I have an EcoFlow Delta Pro which I have used to charge the Stark, it is slow since I am not using 240 (you need to strap them to do that and I am on a budget) and I plan to use it mostly for backup. If I run low I can come back to my vehicle for a break and boost it up some. It won't full...

    Please shout up any issues

Not sure where Stark is sourcing parts, but I prefer Asian sourced parts to European ones. My KTMs were often the same way, with unique costly designs that end up difficult to manufacture well with cost constraints. The Stark is a beautiful bike with awesome design and ends up with a piece of...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Thanks. I am glad I can still ride. I will look into a small PW like you suggest. I have an EcoFlow Delta Pro which is portable, so I could use that for electricity if I get a small self contained PW. :)

Maine - Any roadblocks or smooth sailing?

I haven't changed out the tubes yet, my bike is pretty new and I haven't done too much to this point except ride it:) I have been happy with the range, in the slow/medium gnarl I have gone out around 3 hours and still had some charge left. I only use 80HP more for fun in open fields. I keep it...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

No I have no easy access to water or electricity due to my living situation (that's one of the reasons I got the Stark), so I have to wash my bike at a car wash. I guess I will fab something to lower the pressure and also increase the spraying distance. My situation used to be similar to yours...

    Stark Varg - Owners Manual

Kind of limited in where and what I can use to wash it. That FAQ was kind of misleading. They pretty much implied the bike could be submerged too but I would have my doubts about that now as well. I am using my bike more for enduro and deeper and heavy mud are part of it. 130F would likely...
